Ensure that your booking is made with the Names & details matching the travel documentation you will be travelling with. Guests without appropriate documentation are subject to fines, and can be prevented from boarding airlines or ships, or disembarking in certain ports. Azamara requires guests to be personally responsible for bringing aboard all required documents, including passports, visas and proof of vaccinations. Azamara cannot be held responsible for fines, costs, penalties or interrupted or terminated trips due to a lack of proper documentation, nor can we offer refunds to guests who fail to comply with documentation requirements.

Guests are advised to do their own research before traveling. Resources to help you prepare include your travel agent, government agencies, embassies, consulates, your physician, and local health departments.

PREGNANCY, INFANT & OTHER POLICY

Every Azamara vessel is equipped with a medical facility. At least one licensed physician and one nurse are generally in attendance on all Azamara® voyages. Select medical services and medications are available for a fee, though medication types are limited. While we’re here to help with any medical issues that arise, our medical facilities are not intended as clinics for guests, and Azamara is not responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, or services furnished by shipboard medical personnel, who are independent contractors.

Pregnancy Health Requirements and Other Medical Services

Expectant mothers are welcome, however any guest who will enter the 24th week of pregnancy by the beginning of, or at any time during their cruise agrees not to book the cruise or board the Vessel or Transport under any circumstances. All guests are required to sign a health questionnaire at check-in to ensure they are aware of our pregnancy policy. Please contact your doctor for advice and the most up-to-date health requirements for the booked destinations.

Infant Policy

No infants under a specific age (at least six (6) months for most Classic Cruises but five (5) years for Expedition Cruises) shall be booked on a Cruise, nor brought onboard the Vessel or Transport by any Guest under any circumstances. For transatlantic, transpacific, Hawaii, select South America and other selected cruises and/or CruiseTours, the infant must be at least 12 months old as of the first day of the cruise/CruiseTour. Any cruise that has three or more consecutive days at sea will require infants to be 12 months old on the first day of the cruise/CruiseTour.

Please be aware that guests traveling with a young infant that does not meet the infant policy will be denied boarding. No refunds or other compensation shall be due from the cruise line to anyone as a result of the denial of boarding to an underage infant or other accompanying guests.

If you have any type of medical condition, please inquire about policies and procedures that may affect your voyage.

MINOR POLICY

Any guest under the age of 18 shall be considered a minor and must travel with a parent or Legal Guardian or such other person as may be permitted by Carrier’s policies.

Carrier reserves the right to request proof of age at any time and Passenger’s age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation.
